Tioga Inspires Students to Reach New Heights with the Acclaimed 7th Annual Tioga Drone Camp for Kids!

Tioga is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated two-day event, “Drone Camp for Kids!” This award-winning camp, now in its 7th year, is set to provide 80 middle and high school students with invaluable instruction on drone usage, safety, privacy, competitive flight, and vocational opportunities. To ensure an exceptional program, Lake Region State College and EGP-NA have graciously offered their expertise in developing the curriculum and delivering instruction. Furthermore, the Minot Aeroport Hobby Shoppe will organize an exhilarating drone obstacle course for the participating students.
As a remarkable token of their achievement, all students who successfully complete the program will receive their very own personal practice drones. In addition, Tioga Public Schools will receive a generous donation of a 3D printer, made possible by the kind support of EGP-NA. It is worth mentioning that Tioga High School students have been benefiting from drone education in their curriculum over the past year, thanks to the direct access to a professional drone generously donated by TAEDC and EGP-NA following last year’s camp.
The exceptional impact and value of “Tioga Drone Camp for Kids!” have garnered significant recognition. In fact, the camp was honored with the prestigious 2016 Impact Award for Community Development by the Economic Development Association of North Dakota (EDND).
